Providers

LifeCare employs more than 200 highly trained health care professionals who provide unsurpassed patient care and compassionate service. 

A Basic Life Support crew consists of a Virginia certified Emergency Medical Technician and an EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operators Course, Class 2 or higher) certified driver who holds a valid Virginia state drivers license.

An Advanced Life Support crew consists of a minimum of a National Registered Paramedic and a Virginia certified Emergency Medical Technician.  The driver is EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operators Course, Class 2 or higher) certified, and holds a valid Virginia state drivers license. 

Wheelchair Van drivers are EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operators Course, Class 2 or higher) certified, CPR certified, and hold a valid Virginia state drivers license. 

Many LifeCare providers have advanced medical training and are certified in Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Pediatric Life Support (PALS).

LifeCare’s dedicated team of healthcare professionals is available 24 hours a day to respond to any emergency or non-emergency medical transport need.
