History
LifeCare Medical Transports, Inc. was founded by Kevin Dillard and Dan Wildman and began operations in 1994 in Fredericksburg, Virginia and has grown from a local service to one of Virginia’s largest providers of health care transportation services.
Both Mr. Dillard and Mr. Wildman are long time volunteer rescue squad members and currently serve active roles in various State and National organizations and committees related to the delivery of Emergency Medical Services. Ernest and Young recognized Dillard and Wildman in 1999 as Virginia’s Entrepreneur of the Year.
In 2007, LifeCare Medical Transports was given the Governor’s Award for Outstanding EMS Agency, which is the first time a commercial EMS agency has been awarded this prestigious award in Virginia.
Successful growth is related to maintaining core values: Quality patient care, positive and active involvement in the community, customer service and quality assurance.
Since its inception, both Mr. Dillard and Mr. Wildman remain actively involved at LifeCare and its growth and management of operations. Both also are actively involved in the local EMS system as volunteers, and encourage all LifeCare associates to become involved in their communities as citizens and role models.
